Sinéad Caulfield is an Inclusion Specialist and Neuroinclusive Consultant with over 15 years’ experience in health promotion, special education, child and family wellbeing and adult training. She holds an MSc in Health Promotion and Population Health, has delivered workplace training and coaching, health promotion initiatives, and has taught in primary and further education. Her work spans Ireland, the UK and North America.
Sinéad is passionate about promoting health and wellness proactively, helping people feel understood and less stressed. Her work is grounded in the understanding that excessive or prolonged stress makes learning harder, and that people learn best when they feel safe and supported. For new staff, and for people learning in new teams or divisions, this makes psychological safety essential. When people feel safe to ask questions, admit mistakes and speak up, they learn faster and are more likely to follow safe working practices, which makes psychological safety a foundation for behavioural safety.
Her experience across education, health and community settings enriches her knowledge and perspective of learners from every background, all of whom are found in today’s workplace.
Every workplace is made up of managers, new staff, parents and carers, each with pressures of their own. Let’s build a workplace where everyone feels able to learn, ask for help and do their best work. Register your interest in Starting Strong today.
